I am a fully qualified Reflexologist, having studied in the renowned Green Tara Holistic College, where I received an ITEC Diploma in Reflexology Treatments (Distinction). I offer Reflexology treatments here at the beautiful Four Swans Therapy and Wellness.

Practice:
Life is both a physical and spiritual journey, one that asks us to keep moving; sometimes
forward, sometimes sideways, and often in a completely new direction. It’s about taking
steps, whether they’re bold strides or gentle course corrections, to align with our true selves. I know this journey well; it’s the foundation of my story and the heart of my holistic practice, Rian Coise.

For years, I worked as a Secondary School Art teacher, a role I really loved at first. But over time, I began to feel stuck, as though I was living a life that no longer reflected my authentic self. I knew I needed a change, though I had no idea what that change would look like. What I did know was that I had to take a step, even if it was just one small,
uncertain step.

That decision to take a career break became a turning point in my life. It set me on a path of self-discovery, spiritual awakening, and a deeper understanding of my own potential.
Along the way, I often found myself returning to a poem my mother recited to us as children—a poem her mother had shared with her. Its opening line, “One step and then another…”, became my mantra. It reminded me that even the longest journey begins with a single step, and that movement, any movement, was the key to breaking free from stagnation.

That first step led me to Reflexology, a practice that felt like a natural extension of my own healing journey. With a foundation in holistic practices like daily meditation and yoga, I already understood the profound connection between mind, body, and soul. Reflexology deepened that understanding, allowing me to use my hands as tools to help others heal.
When someone sits on my treatment table, they’re not just offering me their feet—they’re sharing their story, their journey. It’s a privilege to hold that space for them, to help them take their own healing steps, no matter where they are on their path.
