Fidelma is an accredited psychotherapist with over a decade of experience working with adults who are navigating stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma. She holds a BA (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy, as well as an MSc in Mindfulness-Based Interventions. She is a fully accredited member of the IACP (Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and her session fee is €70.
Fidelma's therapeutic approach is primarily psychodynamic, which means she works with you to explore and understand how past experiences, unconscious processes, and patterns in your relationships may be influencing your present thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By uncovering these deeper layers, we can work together to bring about meaningful change.
In addition to individual therapy, she facilitates Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) groups, which is widely regarded as the gold standard in Mindfulness programs providing participants with evidence-based tools for cultivating mindfulness and reducing stress. She is a member of the Mindfulness Teachers of Ireland Association. Mindfulness is an integral part of her practice, helping you to stay present and compassionate with yourself as you explore the underlying causes of your distress.
Whether you’re struggling with emotional difficulties or simply seeking to understand yourself more deeply, her aim is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore, heal, and grow. She is here to support you as you work together towards a deeper sense of well-being and self-understanding.
