Meet your Therapist

Elaine is currently completing an MSc in Systemic Psychotherapy at UCD and has over 20 years’ experience working with children, young people, adults and families across social care, disability and child and family services. Alongside her training, she also works as a Social Worker.

Elaine’s clinical experience has involved working therapeutically with families experiencing relationship difficulties, family conflict, trauma, emotional regulation challenges and significant life transitions.

Family therapy provides a safe and supportive space for families, couples and individuals to explore relationship difficulties, improve communication and work towards positive change.

Elaine’s approach is collaborative, compassionate and family-focused. Elaine aims to create a safe and respectful space where family members can explore difficulties, strengthen relationships and discover new ways of understanding and supporting one another.
Elaine will offer Family Therapy sessions on Saturday afternoons starting from 29^th August until April 2027.
 
I don’t have my Systemic Psychotherapy qualifications as have not qualified yet but I can send my social worker masters if you require?
 
I am awaiting correspondence from UCD re: college insurance and four way agreement as did not need this last year.
