Meet your Therapist

Lynda is in her final year of a Master’s programme in Systemic Psychotherapy at the Clanwilliam Institute. Lynda works systemically with individuals, couples and families, understanding people not in isolation, but in the context of their relationships, histories, and the systems around them.
 
Lynda also works as a Senior Social Worker in HSE Mental Health Services. This experience has shaped a deep respect for the impact of trauma, not just on the individual, but on the relationships and family patterns that form around it, and a strong belief in the capacity for healing when people feel truly seen, safe, and understood.
 
In therapy, Lynda aims to create a warm, non-judgemental space where clients feel able to slow down, make sense of their experiences, and reconnect with themselves and with one another.  Lynda believes that families and individuals already hold much of the wisdom they need to move forward, given the right support.  Lynda offers systemic psychotherapy under professional supervision in accordance with the ethical and practice standards of the Clanwilliam Institute and the Family Therapy Association of Ireland.
