ASD Assessments for Adults & Children

Assessments are carried out by an occupational therapist and psychologist team that are HSE recognised.
There are 3 parts to the assessment for children:

1. A play based session with the child which will last up to 1 hour

2. An information gathering call with the parents (this is on a separate day) and can last up to 3 hours. This is remote and can be a phone or video call.

3. Feedback session which is usually an hour, going through results, recommendations etc. again this can be phone or video depending on preference.

The fee for the assessment is €1800 and includes all 3 parts of the assessment and the report completed by OT and psychology.

For an adult the fee is the same and the process is similar – there will be an observation of questions and tasks, and then there will be a information gathering call to discuss development for which it is usually beneficial to have a family member present with them.
